Here's how we measured it. In their own family trees, genealogists had linked 225 records to 96 people by hand. We looked those people up the way Pecktree searches, from name, years and family, without knowing which records had been linked. For 219 of the 225, the record the genealogist had linked was among the results.

The six that were missed: three test persons, one link with the wrong year in the family tree, one linked record dated before the person was born (most likely a wrong link), and one name with so many results that the record fell outside the list. Measured on October 13, 2026, against the live search service.
